Having the same project on your hook allows you to share your work in progress, ask questions and find inspiration in what others are making. About this month's pattern
Nara the Parrot is a burst of joy in the tropical rainforest! She loves nothing more than celebrating every color in the canopy. Her favorite thing about her home? Without a doubt: the neighbors. The jungle is at its best when everyone lives together in harmony. While some birds are perfect flyers and others are top-notch singers, Nara knows that it takes every unique color and trait to make their shared home complete.

Materials:
• Light worsted / DK weight yarn (colors for all 3 parrots are detailed in the pattern)
• B-1 / 2.5 mm crochet hook
• A pair of safety eyes (12 mm)
• Embroidery thread
• Yarn needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Stitch markers

For those who are new to the Ami-Along, here's how it works!
The Ami-Along is a monthly event! You can either become a member with the monthly subscription or participate in a single Ami-Along only at a slightly higher cost. Each Ami-Along will feature a new exclusive project by a different established amigurumi designer.
We think everyone should be able to participate in the Ami-Along, which is why we choose patterns that are mid-level. The designer and your fellow crocheters are there to help you in the forum, so you'll have plenty of people who want to guide you through the process of creating this cute amigurumi.
After joining the Ami-Along, you will receive a confirmation email in the mailbox linked to your PayPal email address. This email will contain a direct download link as well as a link to the forum, where you can download the pattern PDF as well.
You can cancel anytime, directly from your PayPal account under Payments → Manage automatic payments. There's no lock-in and no cancellation fee. You keep all patterns you've already downloaded.
The pattern will only be available in US crochet terms.
No, we do not supply materials for this Ami-Along.
No, the full pattern will be available from the start, including pictures of the finished item and step-by-step pictures to guide you along the way.
This Ami-Along starts on the second Wednesday of the month (July 8) and will end on the second Monday of the month after (August 10). This means you have a full month to work on your amigurumi, so don't worry about joining a little later. The forum will remain available for 2 weeks after the closing date of the Ami-Along. If you've downloaded the pattern and saved it to your computer, you can of course continue crocheting at your own pace.
Sure you can! You can share your progress in the forum and on your own social media. There might even be a prize involved. ;) When posting on social media, you can use the hashtag #amialong, so we can find your post more easily.
No, you're free to participate if you like, or simply browse posts of others, or ignore the forum altogether.
During each Ami-Along, we organize various small contests, where either the Amigurumi.com team or the designer draws a winner (randomly or by choice). For each Ami-Along, there will be an amazing prize for the designer's favorite. You'll discover how to win one of the other prizes in the 'Win!' thread on the forum.
As an Ami-Along Member, you'll enter a special monthly Members Raffle and you'll also receive a magnificent Member badge on the discussion forum. After the initial payment for the current Ami-Along you will automatically be billed every 7th of the next month for the following Ami-Along. At any time you can cancel your subscription through your profile or through PayPal.
